In addition to being a qualified spectacle maker, David our Store Manager is also a keen SCUBA diver & snorkeler having trained to the level of Dive Master.

This combination of workplace technical skills combined with first hand knowledge of divers requirements places David in the perfect position to produce the perfect prescription dive mask allowing the safest & best underwater experience.

Karingal Optical will produce a custom made prescription dive mask, perfect for your needs. Just supply a well fitted dive mask for us to grind a precision glass lens which will then be fitted permanently to the inside of the masks original lens allowing the corrective lens to become part of the mask. Our lens lab can cater for all prescription types, long or short sighted, bifocal or those who need helps for close up only & struggle with the details on dive computers, watches or cameras.

The Karingal Optical dive mask lenses also include calculated compensation for the lens position of wear being different to your spectacle lenses alongside the different behaviour of light underwater, we want you to be able to tell a dolphin from a shark! One is cute with the other a bit scary. Prescription dive mask lenses are claimable on your private health insurance which Karingal Optical can access through the Hicaps network.
